The Argyllshire Gathering Oban Games take place on Thursday 27 August 2020. Save the date for a great fun day out at one of the major Highland Games events in Scotland. Dating back to 1871, The Argyllshire Gathering Oban Games is a true Highland outdoor spectacle - held at Mossfield Stadium in Oban.
The day begins with the March of the Stewards from the town's Station Square led by a Pipe Band formed by world class pipers competing in the Argyllshire Gathering Piping Competition. Once at Mossfield, the day of competition springs in to life with Highland Dancing, Light & Heavy Field events, Solo Light Music Piping Competitions, fun races for all, entertaining Tug of War event, food & drink stands, craft stalls, Oban High School Pipe Band and much more.
